Fix / Technical Audit

Understand before intervening.

When the symptoms are visible but the cause is not clear, I examine the system before proposing a solution.

When it helps

You can see the problem. Not the cause yet.

The audit is the right starting point when acting immediately would mean choosing blind.

What I examine

Four perspectives on the same system.

I do not treat UX, code and configuration as separate problems. I read them together to distinguish causes from effects.

Structure
Site architecture, content organisation and dependencies shaping how the wider system operates.
Performance
Loading, rendering and visible bottlenecks slowing down the experience or day-to-day management.
UX
Hierarchy, flows and friction points making it harder to understand, decide or complete an action.
Technical configuration
Settings, extensions and integrations introducing fragility, conflicts or avoidable complexity.

What you receive

Not a list of problems. A basis for decisions.

The analysis is returned as a usable sequence: what is happening, what matters first and how to move forward.

  1. 01

    Diagnosis

A clear account of the issues found and the relationships between symptoms, causes and dependencies.

  2. 02

    Priorities

An order of intervention separating what is urgent, what is important and what can wait.

  3. 03

    Action plan

Concrete steps to fix, consolidate or redesign only what genuinely needs attention.

After the audit

The solution comes after the diagnosis.

The audit does not assume a rebuild, a new plugin or different technology. It first establishes whether the problem calls for a targeted correction, a broader intervention or simply better decisions.

Any following work is assessed against what the audit reveals, without dismantling what already works or adding complexity by default.

Technical Audit

Understand first. Then decide.

Describe the system, the symptoms and what is blocking you. We can start there.
